Welcome

Welcome to the adventures of Ktwinks & the Red Headed Terrorer.

Ktwinkles was a nickname given to me when I was a kid; the Red Headed Terrorer was given to my little sister because she had red hair.  I have no idea where Ktwinkles came from myself.  Perhaps one of my family members out there can enlighten me.  My cousin still calls me K'twinks from time to time, but for the purpose of this blog I'll be singing in as plumbing girl.

I figure this can be a place where my family can share its meanderings near & far with each other & of course some friends instead of emailing our tales (or being a private blog with passwords & all).

I'll leave you with a photo I took on returning from my morning run a couple of weeks ago/

  1. Dear Plumbing Girl,
I am back to Canada since nearly a week by now. On Monday night, I have posted my last page on my blog about the wonderful trip my father and I did in Australia. That was a very special moment. All the feelings and the great moments we had reappeared. (Some falls reappearded too!) It was like turning the last page of a so good book or to take the last hazelnut shortbread out of the small bucket we bought from Rebecca's at Port Fairy! (Yes, we went back secretly at Port Fairy to take with us a small bucket of those nice shortbreads for the road! In fact, we had the last one along the coast in Western Australia and the bucket in now at St-Hyacinthe!)

My best moment was sincerely the one we had together at Fiona & Noel's beautiful house. Be all together, even from England!!, talking, laughing, and sharing a nice dinner. I noticed what I already knew, you are a great family, a loving family. From the youngest to the oldest, each one has a special place in the heart of the others, each one is loved and appreciated. Each one knows that the others care about them and will be there when the rain falls. I suppose I have also a family like this, but the feelings I had that night was that I would like to be around all the time. I would like to share this happiness again and again.

Take care of each other, Ktwinks and the Red Headed Terrorer (I can't imagine Fiona like a terrorer... maybe Noel does...) and I will certainly participate from Up Over to your discussion...
