Hi! Ho! Hi! Ho! I'am walking in the snow!
Today, it is going to snow. The sky is cloudy, kind of white-grey color, snow is white, daylight is white, so very bad conditions for good pictures! But anyway, I took some to illustrate the joy of walking in the mountain just beside the house. Here is the main track going to the top:
Everyone knows that snow is beautiful but it can also be very useful:
| For keeping beverage cold... |
| For making angels... |
| For exercising... |
| For swimming... (Flo and cousin William) |
| For doing some art... |
| Even for horse racing!! (Ski jamboree) |
I decided to take the rougher trail:
And then, after 30 minutes of hard climbing, I reached the top. On the top of that mountain, this is a small but very deep lake. Some people said this is an old volcano, but hard to believe. But on that moment, I thought that Zac would really like to be here with his motorbike. Each winter, crazy guys come here with their 4 wheels and make a racing ring on the ice:
Then, I continue my way and I noticed some tracks in the snow and I decided to give you some lesson:
PAWS 101
| Mouse |
| Weasel |
| Squirrel |
| Partridge |
| Huummmm... What about that one? |
Like Australians, Canadians are tough people.
So, after being on the sun for a month, I went back to my old habits very quickly...

Oh my lord! Bare foot in the snow!!! You are crazy!!!!!! LOL. I just can't imagine so much snow! Love the lesson on paws/feet.
ReplyDeleteThe snow on the landscape is so pretty.....it must be beautiful to have such an extreme in the seasons. When the snow melts & the plants bloom. Very sweet! I guess the weather can be very unforgiving & bleak in a storm though!
We'll have some more blog posts up over the next few weeks......we're on holidays!
